Louise is a self-taught artist based in rural Lincolnshire where she lives with her husband and two Lurchers. At school she loved art but had an uninspiring art teacher, so she decided to pursue a career as a Radiographer! It soon became clear to Louise that her job was unfulfilling and started painting as a hobby after attending evening classes. Encouraged by starting to sell her work on eBay and to friends it was a great encouragement to continue her passion for. Eventually, as her painting technique improved, art publisher opportunities arose, and Louise became a professional artist. Louise’s love of animals is evident in her paintings, and they capture the personality of the subject. Her paintings tend to be quirky and humorous, and her painting style is loose and expressive.
